Art Illuminating the Spirit

Autumn Art Excursion: Milwaukee

This autumn, rare Italian Renaissance masterpieces are just a private coach ride away. Join Jonathan Canning, LUMAs Senior Curator, on a trip to the Milwaukee Art Museum to see Of Heaven and Earth: 500 Years of Italian Painting from Glasgow Museums. During the day, we will also tour the Pabst Mansion, the home of brewing magnates and the epitome of late 19th-century taste and high living. For lunch, we will dine at the elegant and scenic Harbor House, on the shores of Lake Michigan.

Tea with the Jesuits: Fall 2014

Tea with the Jesuits introduces audiences to Jesuit intellectuals from across the United States. While listening to the lecture, people enjoy tea and pastries. Join LUMA this fall for "Crossings and Dwellings: A Closer Look at the Exhibition" (Sept. 12), "The Ignatian Charism of Pope Francis" (Oct. 24), and "Immersion Education in Belize: Pedagogical Opportunities in Ecology and Spirituality" (Nov. 7).

Celebrate the Holidays with LUMA: Sponsor a Crèche!

Since the first Art and Faith of the Crèche in 2007, the Crèche Sponsorship Program has become increasingly popular amongst our LUMA friends. We are happy to extend to you an early opportunity to participate, so you get your first country of choice! Sponsoring a crèche in the exhibition is the perfect way to honor your heritage, a friend, or loved one during the upcoming holiday season.
